Technicaly I don't think so. Basicly the father is selling off his biological juices for cash, often it's kids doing it to pay for college. If a weird punk teenager suddenly goes up to them 15 years later and stalks them just because they have the same DNA, that'd be desturbing since the father never really wanted anything to do with them. Even if the test tube baby had a full family consisting of a father and a mother, the mother being the only person in their lives they share full biological relation to, then it shouldnt matter if they wanted to know the real father or not. Law and order SVU is very weird at times with these types of things. If you vote for the 3rd option, you are a troll.
BBD : Wth u can donate eggs? I got friends who donated already they make about $1000 every time they go (if they are healthy) but there is a restriction how many days you can go.
Yeah. It's not as easy. A girl needs to go on massive amounts of hormones first, get their genes tested and be considered of good genetic health. It pays between 8l-21k$. It's also apparently really painful.

What would the child gain from it? He doesn't know the man and he already has a father

I'm sorry, but you are a troll for putting up the last poll, not us. On topic, I believe the procedure shouldn't even exist. There are exceptions though, but I don't bother naming them.
Eeveepony : I agree with you. Donor programs should remain annon. When I donate eggs, I don't want those kids contacting me in the future.
hi mommy :3

The father should not have even donated his seed for money in the first place.
Cyrus0 : That's pretty, conservative , of you O_O
I can understand if one would donate their seed if they had good intentions, whether it was for research, helping sterile men, or whatever. But irrationally donating your sperm for money, knowing the fact that it will be used to make a child, its just plain stupid. Out of all the ways of the world to get a woman pregnant, donating sperm is the highest gaurenteed way to become a father. If any male individual decides to donate their sperm, they should face the responsibilities of doing so, including visiting the biological child years down the road. I may usually lean towards the far left on many social issues but I draw the line somewhere. XP

Rather intrusive, don't you think? Also, as far as I know, sperm donation is used to get a woman who wants a baby pregnant. Chances are she already has someone else in mind to raise the child. True, not the "biological" father, but I fail to see how that really matters.
