A solution of making windows vista into window mode on MS

Hi there I have windows vista and ive been through the same problem and found a solution for making maple into window mode and it has nothing to do with downloading or any of that junk, very simple actually.All u really do is go to "Control Panel" and then look for "Adjust Screen Resolution" and look at the meter and select "1280 by 768 pixels",colors "Highest 32bit".The only thing that will seem weired is your icons r gonna be a little bigger but u can also change the size of em,so no biggy.Now open up Maple Story and try the Alt + Enter and should work just fine,if it doesnt then u can always change your screen resolution back to normal if u like but 1280 by 768 pixels helped put Maple into window mode.Let me know if it works for u all,id really like to know if it helped everyone else with that issue.

Hmm, I have Vista with a resolution of 1400x900 and 32-bit colors by default and is able to go into window mode. Anyways, try this. Once you at the Display Settings windows, go to Advanced Settings, Monitor, and make sure the refresh rate is at least 60 hertz.

if its 1280 x 768, the icons are going to be SMALLER. not bigger. 1280 x 768 (800 for me) is the largest that most monitors go (for notebooks anyway. idk about desktops.)

I've never had issues gettin Maple into Windows Mode on either comp I use that's vista. People have problems with it O-o?

[/quote] Actually, the icon size will stay the same size, but it will LOOK bigger on a smaller size resolution. For example, how will a 50 pixels icon look on a resolution of 1920x1024 compare to a 800x600?

[/quote] Unless I'm missing something, I don't get how that's relevant. o.O The TS stated that if you change your resolution to "1280 x 768" (or a smaller resolution), the icons will look bigger. Then you went and argue about how that isn't the case, and that the icon will get smaller... Edit: If you talking about going to 1280x768 from 1280x800, then that would have made the icon slightly taller. If you were talking about going from 800x600 or something to 1280x800, then you will be correct I guess. Well whatever, this is getting stupid... /edit Also, I'm pretty sure most laptops has the resolution of 1366x768 not 1280x800 nowadays.
