The new Steal and non-daggers

 | Just a quick check--Steal IS going to still work with all weapons as it does now, correct? If so, it'll be nice to get back to InBomb's roots and create a beginner-build character using Steal forever. A 249~2315 range using steal would be delicious at level 60. Especially since it mobs 4 enemies, meaning it's really a 996~9260 range. Not to mention Stun and long-range. |

[/quote] InBomb, my Lukless Str CB, used a modified Beginner/Warrior Build. Str as the main stat, use non-daggers--BWs, Polearms, Common equipment. The idea was the use the nice buffs, passive skills, and situational any-weapon skills (Disorder, Steal, Meso Explosion) to still have a nice edge. However, Steal was changed so you couldn't steal extra passes in LPQ--and I realized how stable he was with daggers and how broken SB's damage formula would be--and began to max SB and use daggers. With Steal's changes--if it still continues to work with any weapon, then yes, Steal forever--with things like Pickpocket and Meso Explosion to abuse in 3rd--with no real plans of ever getting to 4th. |

| That is a good point, I'd forgotten that you can you steal with any weapon. I don't think it will make that huge of an impact (to the bandit population as a whole) but it would be interesting to hear about lol |
