At Zakum with Vista

I was wondering if I would Vista D/C glitch with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 Graphics Card. Any tips?

I have vista and i did it. I dont know anything bout my graphix card though, im noob at computer stuff

my pc's freakin sucky (cheap off the shelf pc thats 7-8 years old) and i had to upgrade it from xp to vista when it decided to die a couple of years back. the only thing i've ever upgraded on it was an extra gig of ram as vista is a resourse hog and even though its dying (im actually buying a new pc in a week or so) i can zak without lag. my pc has 1.5 gb ram, 2 GHz 64 bit amd processor, 256mb integrated graphics card and tbh, my broadband service isnt even that fast. i dont see why people have such a big problem with vista on maple. it's never posed a problem for me on maple

I heard that people with Nvidia Graphics Cards running Vista have d/c'd before. @HeroOfFury You can check your graphics card by going to start menu and typing in dxdiag in the search and press enter. It'll appear and click on display. It'll have the name of the graphics card there.

I'm running a Dell Inspiron 17 with Windows 7 and a stock graphics card and nothing else special, and I'm resistant to this D/C "Hack" It was tried once and the guy was very upset it didn't work. He didn't get the roids map.

I usually don't trust Vista with things like Zakum Runs, since it can really be unpredictable. Although Vista is okay right after you turn on the computer, then a little later it's super laggy for me.

I have been hosting runs and and have been a user of vista for 3 years. I have had no issues with vista a zak, as i run a radeon 3870.

vista with nvidia 9800 and i DC at 3rd which is such a pain... it stopped after awhile but i havent zaked in awhile either

Many reported it fixes the problem. Works for me, but I've actually never tried Zrunning in fullscreen. And to TS, not to sure about the spec's of your comp and graphics card (not really computer savvy) but try running window mode and lowest graphic setting in game. Worked for a lot of people. Doesn't hurt to try :P Only your wallet if you don't get another run as compensation ><
