xD idk =/ i dunno if i could stand being so far away from them =[, However doesnt mean i wouldnt get with somebody if i like them ALOT and there was a chance we could eventually meet xD.. Afterall tons of people have them and meet and fall in love , in some cases the long distance can actually be a good thing ;).

I think your chances are more strained when you try a relationship online but it isn't impossible.

[/quote] Adding on to that: They both technically hold the same concept, except there's more of a physical interaction (which I guess is more of an accomplishment). Online relationships most of the time don't work out, but I've heard of extremely touching love stories starting online. There was one recently on Basil, met via chat section. I'm not for it, but I'm not against it. I'd prefer it because real life impressions are almost 100% based on looks rarely the case of personality. Online usually can get a lot more done via getting to know each other then real life. Both have their pros and cons, but seriously it all depends on you and your counterpart.

Had a few experiences. I would say that it would be a really low percent for any online relationship to be successful. Issues with distance and other stuff were my problems. I couldn't handle not being able to be with the person or having the person whine about me being distant at times. I'm not completely against them due to my experiences, but I prefer to stick with the real life dating.

I've been in quite a few online relationships and it's easier to breakup than irl..you just log off for a little while..

I am in one. I just recently told my parents and they treat it like a joke. It annoys the hell out of me. Also... When you meet someone online, impressions are made off of personality to begin with. This is much better than the 100%-based-on-looks first impressions we get in real life.
