Debate : An Earth-like Planet was Discovered

Details of this 'Planet': There is an ecosystem, much like Earth, but with different species. There is no sign of an 'intelligent species', and there are no tribes. No, this is not a scenario like Avatar. & You would be faced with two choices. a) Begin a colony on that planet, and form a civilization. b) Leave that planet, but continue to monitor it and see how the ecosystem is like. Option A; we would be polluting that planet and eventually wasting it's resources. But, why should we deprive humanity of a perfectly good world? Option B; we would be able to learn more about a planet different yet similar to ours, so humanity can discover how planets are like when completely left alone. Note, for option B - humans can land on their planet to explore, but not allowed to colonize, hunt, etc.

I would colonize but make sure that humans only take as much as is necessary and try and find a balance between technology and civilization and the wilderness.
