What kinda good Yugioh deck should I make?

Limit: They have to be non banned tournament style cards. (40-50 cards) Reason I'm doing / asking this is because I got in a bet where my friend made me join a Yugioh tournament and IF I win, I would win a prize from him.

Use 5 d's synchro cards... black rose dragon ftw, and so does stardust dragon. research it. I personally use dinosaurs with a few dragons that all connect. cool no?

Exodia the Forbidden One? Winged Dragon of Ra? Obelisk the Tormentor? Slifer the Sky Dragon? Wait.... those aren't allowed in tournaments are they. I don't know, try to build an insect deck? Like Man-Eater Bug, etc.

The word run is overused in the game "I run this card in my deck" No longer theme decks base on attributes. Stuff like blackwing and lightsword? Synchro is a must have It costs a lot of money to make a good deck Info my friend tells me.. I have no clue why.

I just need to know which type of deck are on par with the rest of the tournament style playing kids/teens nowadays. So far I'm hearing the sphinx deck, synchro deck, twlight deck, and lightsworn deck? How effective are these? Any pros/cons?

I'm not sure about tournament rules, but I've got a few cards and they are ownage. -Revival Jam (always come back to life, so put it in defense mode) -Reinforcements: Trap Card (increases 1 monster by 500ATK) -Jam Defender (makes all your opponents attacks go to Revival Jam) -Jinzo #7 (500ATK. Attacks life points directly) -7 Completed (adds 700ATK) -Double Attack: Spell card (destroy 1 monster in hand and make it go to graveyard. a monster with a lower level gets to attack twice this turn). -Ookazi: Spell card (800 points to life) Revival Jam + Jam Defender = Jinzo 7 can't die. 7 completed + Reinforcements + Jinzo 7 + Double Attack = 3400 points directly. Ookazi = 800. That's over 4000!

Black wing- Cheap and consitant to max it out which will cost alot you'll put in vayus and such synchros etc Lightsworn - Expensive good decks, right now honest is low because of the twilight edtion but jd's are expensiveee Zombie - These decks are pretty good i love using them fun and easy (google them) These 3 decks are the top 3 tourny decks kinda fighting for first right now Other decks : Hybridge decks like vayusworn, norlease bw, etc are the decks that usualy win tourny decks up there are the base lines for it Anti Meta is a good one based on lockign down oppent every move

[/quote] hows about dont waste your money on those cards, the tournaments will probably find something to say that some of them are "unfair" then they ban then value goes down before you know it a card that costs you $50 to get is on ebay for $5 1 year after that its at $1 or worthless. its happened to half of the series of cards by now and even the first tin holos are worthless (they used to hold a lot of money cuz they didnt make so many of them back then). ive got like 100 holos that are pretty much worthless now, dont invest in yu-gi-oh cards to find out what a waste of money it was 2 years down the road.
