which bows/crossbows to buy?

Hi, my brother and I made a bow/crossbow team, with me being the bowman and him being the crossbowman. I've never made a bowman or crossbowman and I am pretty much paying for both accounts for now but I don't know which bows and crossbows to get. I've got a red viper for me to use at lvl 35 and I've gotten him the lvl 28-38 xbows. I don't know which bows and crossbows to buy should I try to get the maple ones or just stick with the regular ones? We are both currently raising up AP regularly so we are not str-less. Thanks

Just get a new one whenever you can upgrade and 100% scroll them. This will work until around level 64 where you should look for the best Nishada/Kandiva that you can afford.

How well funded are you? Not funded, save money get crossbows sparingly Sort of (your opinion) Get crossbows whenever you can, 100% or some 60%'s Pretty funded (your opinion) Get crossbows at each level, nicely scrolled maple one/regular one. Funded-scroll yourself, with 10%'s and 60%'s

I think I might have about maybe 50-80m in funds for them and I am thinking about keeping 35m aside for myself to get a Zhelm (run). So I should use the regular bows/crossbow then buy a maple nishada and Maple soul searcher/kandiva? I think I should be able to buy both of them and I'm not really a big fan of scrolling.

use normal weps til around 3x. try get some 100%ed weapons then, hopefully maple weps, then at level 50 a nice olympus and rower. then at 64 probably, maple weapons, unless you find something better, then go from there

Use all NPC bows. At lv35, buy a Red Viper or Maple Bow, scrolled. At 43, Maple Soul Searcher. For your brother, lv35 a Maple Crow, Lv38 a Heckler (If you didn't buy a crow) and 43 a Maple Crossbow. Then try to use 60% scrolled bows from olympus/rower on.

What I did was use 100%'d maple crow, then maple crossbow. Bought a pre-scrolled Rower (80 atk) which lasted me til 60. Bought a nicely scrolled golden crow (95 atk) which lasted me til 80. Then bought a raven (106 atk) which lasted me til 100. I am currently using a neschere (113 atk). Hope this helped. Edit: I also recommend capping your strength around 50-60. Maximum 70 as you will get a lot of strength from z-helm, overall, makered shoes, cape and deputy star
