Inappropriate name not allowed on Basil?

| Well i recently made a character with the IGN 'TasteMyLoad'. It's a Ranger, i just hit 70 2 days ago, and i started it about 1month ago. Now the problem is, i tried to post it on BasilMarket as my main player and Mr. B sent me this message. "Hello hello69, thank you for taking the time to send us a report. The staff has responded to your report, please read this over carefully and provide any additional info if necessary to help us look into your issue. That name is inappropriate and will result in an account deletion if you use it." Ive been using Basil for around 2 years now, i dont think its really reasonable to ban someone for an inappropriate name that represents their player. Without posting my main player, no one will know who i am to track me or just know who i am speaking. So im just asking the Basil community, do you think its right for Mr. B to delete my account/block me for using an 'inappropriate name'? |

If someones name is Sam Michael Dietrich, and they post on their basil OR in their IGN = Like S-M-D for myspace or iPwnzS-M-D, people will take it as 'Suck my...' when its ACTUALLY his initials. Just proving a point, excuse my language. :P |

[/quote] Sure "privately owned basil" has its rules, but its not breaking the rules when you upload your characters name DIRECTLY from the main site that brings this "Basil Market" website all its members. This is dumb, his IGN is allowed on the game, why is this any different? |

[/quote] A job, such as Giant, is owned privately; same with 'family owned markets' that are always on commericials (So annoying!), They cant tell someone they cant work there because theyre fat or black. It just CANT happen. Freedom of Speech and all the other 10 amendments are legible ANYWHERE in the U.S., weather it be privately-owned companies or government-owned companies. |
