80 bas dex, str top or overall?

hey guys, i am a lvl 124 drk and i have a base dex of 80. What is better for me? 1. a good str top and some 6-8 str bottom? 2. Make a good reverse overall with str on it? Thanks in advance!

What's your base speed? What are you planning to get on the Str Overall? Depending on what you need and the amount of funding, you'd get a strength reverse overall (mad rich and hard to self scroll), or a nice top/bot combo for speed & str.

The problem with the reverse taragon is that the vast majority of people are not going to use 10/30s on it. The main advanatage you have when scrolling an overall is how much more 30s for overalls add when compared to 30s for tops or bottoms (5 stats compared to 3 stats.) Whereas the 60s add the same amount of stats for both types. So when comparing top/bottoms to overalls without factoring in 30s (due to cost of initial item) there are a few things to consider top/bottom combo gives you 4 gem slots -- Overall gives you 3 limited to only 1 each of gem t/b gives you 14 slots u/h 16 h -- Overall gives you 10 u/h 12 h t/b is easy to scroll for speed/acc overall is not t/b has a limited number of 60% scrolls for tops for str, 70% scrolls are not cheap either overall has expensive 60% scrolls for str t/b has to be scrolled with str for top and dex for bottom -- meaning focusing on one stat is not doable barring chaos scrolls overall gives you the option to focus on one stat In the end the t/b wins out because you can scroll for speed and you can use more gems to create more diverse items -- statwise they are pretty even considering we neglect the use of 30s

yeah oke thanks for the information of u guy's. i am going to make top and bottom. what gems are the best choice to use for a top/bottom. I dont really need the dex because i have already a base of 80 dex. So i want the most str as i can get. Thanks in advance!

Obviously you'll want the best Str crystal you can grab. After that it's a matter of what else you need -- speed is always a popular and effective decision considering you don't need the dex/acc. A much more expensive option is using an inter or adv dark crystal to possibly add even more Str. It may be better to just buy a pre-scrolled Str top though -- between the price of gems and scrolls and the lack of 60 percent scrolls for top you're looking at a huge gamble compared to buying pre-scrolled. The bottom isn't as big of an issue to self-scroll because gallos drop 60% bottom for dex (speed) at a nice enough rate as to have them be plentiful in the fm Shameless plug : I'm selling a 10 str bottom 7 slots =P

I think you should stop upgrading your top/bottoms >_> let some other people have a chance at buying scrolls. My top+bottom has 24 str, 8 dex, and 12 remaining slots (to 16 with hammers if I wanted)... but I can't afford a single scroll.

[/quote] lol -- depends on your definition of better -- str-wise it's not but I prefer my speed bottoms -- it won't kill me to lose 2 str and 24 str off top and bottom clean? been playing with dark crystals? those are some nice numbers

I don't really have the budget to forge and break multiple dark crystal tops so no, top is a str crystal and a speed crystal. I see no point using dark crystals with anything other than high-grade, and I'm not in the mood to break a 100+mil top. Gonna avoid mentioning how much speed my set adds until the bottom has no slots left. All my gear is a juggle anyway, if enough 60%s work on the pants I'll be switching back to my old Valkyrie top (pre-maker, but it has decent str). In the far future, when my Reverse Bellocce is done, I have a new belt, new cape etc. I might do str/dark on topwear, but with the state of 60% top scrolls costing a ton each, it's not worth the effort for a couple stats. I would be happy end-game with a +5 str, +2 or 3 from dark crystal, and +8 60%/Vega's, for 29-30 str, but that's not gonna happen unless Nexon brings back Vega scrolls and I get astonishingly rich. In consideration of my pants, 31 str would be nice but I'm not expecting that to happen.

Yeah, my previous pair of pants (before Malaysia or Maker was released) I did 5 70% and 2 100% on >_> They're still decent (3 str 16 dex 4 acc 1 speed) but I've got plenty of acc now so I used Maker to do a str upgrade. I still need them at Chief Guardians until a few 60%s pass on my new pants but that'll be done soon. If I end up with a +5 70% top w/ slots left I'll definitely consider 60%ing it. Costs a little more in the short term, but breaking it is worse. I heard 60% top str only drop at Gigantic Spirit Vikings and Pepes though, which explains why there are none around. :x Hopefully I can spend some quality time there on my Aran, I heard Aran are pretty strong in 3rd job.

Well that means that you have some very nice equips, how much did u spend for it? well i think arans are pretty strong in 3rd job. What would be a good training place for a lvl 64 aran?
