Will 10 extra Dex significantly hurt my damage?

Well, since I made my Dragon Knight ages ago, I had no idea that the cap for a Warrior's DEX should be no higher then 80. I currently have 90 Base Dex, 10 more then recommended. Will the 10 extra dex significantly hurt my damage? I do not have NX so I would have to spend mesos resetting the points. I think that 5 Str is equal to 1 W. Atk.. so it would be like 2 W. Atk.. For a lot of mesos though. Is it worth it?

10 extra points of dex won't hurt you if you just get str equips that should make up for the lost pts.

Meh not really it's only like 100 in my damage range for my level o.O Luckily for me I stuck to dexless

i lowered my DEX by 10 (from 100->90) when the 1st ap reset sale happened, it never made a real significant difference, and if your DK is really old it probably has int/luk from when you had to roll your beginning stats, if it does, any ap resets you have should go to bringing both int/luk to 4. your NX could be better spent to improve your damage, unless you have absolutely no other options for upgrading...

don't worry about 90 base dex; just focus on only STR equips and keep in mind that you can boss earlier (comes in handy when you are in a good guild)

Yes Focus on STR equips, I have +7x Str with adiquitely not scrolled maker stuff. Soon after I get 1 GFA 30% and hopes I land it, I'm going to scroll my lv 100 8STR glove for the STR and ATT (Mine atm is 10att 4str)

I don't think it'll make much of a difference. I'm a (quite literally) dexless DK, and I have trouble hitting the simplest of things, so I'm actually rather jealous of your accuracy! XD Anyways, as all the others have said, focus on getting str equips and you'll be fine. You can say you're "playing it old school". :D

my mm has 95 base str... just focus on getting str items instead of dex

Don't worry about it. I have 90+ DEX too, doing fine. Just buy STR and W.ATT clothes instead of DEX and ACC clothes.

Yes, that extra ten dex is horrible for your damage and will make you completely useless in everything that you do. The only option is to delete your entire character and restart, because you already have a reputation as a nooby 10-dex-more-than-average warrior.

10 STR is worth about 2% of your damage in 3rd job and 1% of your damage in late 4th job. If you seriously think 1% to 2% more or less damage is going to make a difference in playing the game, you have issues.

[/quote] This is completly true. 2% isn't anything or barely anything so don't worry about it.

Not really that much difference O.o if anything you should be worried about having over 4 dex, but even that doesnt make too much of a difference O.o By the time you hit 20k+ per crusher, nobody will really notice that you're hitting like 2k less than someone else
