Are mages still worth making

What do you think are mages still worth while and be usefulln for anything and if so I/l f/p or cleric?

Clerics will always be useful. However, I find my mage 10x as fun as my priest. It's all about having fun, and that's up to you.

[/quote] i know someone who has a priest remade another cleric things like this shouldnt be posted, the only person who knows the answer is the TS himself, pick what seem to give you the most enjoyable time well i did like my mage pre-4th job, after getting to 143, got dismotivated (57 levels more of spamming blizz and leech gone) so i quit :P but i'd probably get back to training it next year using my max CL and hopefully max ID :D

Is this about Evan coming to replace AM's/Bishops again? I'm going to start reporting all those threads soon, it's irritating. If it's NOT about that, then yes, in my opinion, mages are "worth" making.

hmm i chose a cleric because there easy to train and fun. 100% youll always get chosen for a pq. but attack is low but when you get genesis. Lol you can KS in henesys hunting ground haha ;)

I have a 103 priest. remade a cleric lvl 46. having more fun on cleric than my priest.

Nah man, we're so useless AMs actually HEAL the enemy with their attacks. And their summons take off 500 HP per second while they're out. And we're about fifty times more expensive than NLs to fund, yeah that's right FIFTY. AND everyone hates them because they're mages and they smell. Totally worthless class.

Is anything still worth making? Last time I checked people played maple for pure enjoyment, not to be more "useful" on an online game... If it's fun, make it, if it's not, dont make it. The people that choose a class to make just because it seems more useful arent always the people that end up hitting fourth job, the people that choose classes they like actually enjoyed the class they chose and hit fourth job.

No point in making a mage if you plan on using it for anything. Bishops still have some use.

If this is because Evan, then leave. If you want to be that big of a damage nut, then go make a NL or something. Mages can't boss or anything, but have a hell of a lot of fun with skills and training. In that respect, yes, they are worth it.
