Bishops-Nothing. F/P-Fire arrow hits 3 monsters, Meteor shower gets a boost, and some other stuff I/L-Blizzard gets a boost...and some other stuff.
I dont think blizzard gets a boost, also Element amplification becomes stronger, FP fire arrow is now a mob skill that hits 4 monsters (not 3), and explosion casting time is reduced.

paralyze and CL get base damage boosts. And I believe both of the demons get a base damage boost? correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, it would be easier if someone just posted the link lol

I/L: Blizzard got boosted to 600 spell attack (from 570), CL got boosted to 210 spell attack (from 180), ID got boosted to 120 spell attack (from 100). For some reason Thunderbolt's range was increased too. F/P (less sure about these, I'm no F/P): Meteo got boosted to 620 spell attack (from 570), Paralyze got boosted to 240 spell attack (from I dunno what), FD got boosted to uh, 140 I think (from 120). Fire arrow is a mob attack now and Explosion got sped up. Amp for both Mages got bumped to 150% damage for 200% MP (from 140%) If I forgot something, owell. It's readily available information somewhere :o

So Meteor will be better than Blizzard when this comes out? Yet this is called a balance ? How the hell is 20 difference more balanced than 0 difference? Also, who the hell would INCREASE the damage of the ultimates? Mages are already more than strong enough. But whatever. I guess quitting my I/L was a good choice.
Well, I'd be complaining about the blizzard vs meteor base damage change too but thing is, blizzard freezes, which is a pretty humongous advantage in terms of training without having to get kb-ed so much.

DeMagHthe freezing is a very good point indeed, also, may be they'll add more ice weak monsters than fire weak monsters, i.e: more training spots for i/l than f/p don't just take base damage difference as an absolute point of comparison, i/l is extremely fun for most ppl created them, the patch will just make them more fun and easier to train with, that's all.

I like it how Meteor>Blizzard. Fire is (in my eyes) a stronger element, compared to the cold. Blizzard/meteor also got a lower mp cost.
Yeah, oblivions is becoming ice weak apparently, like literally ice weak, 1.5x boost to damage there... @above: ice can be pretty strong too, walk outside in New York during winter naked,....cold.

Bishops - No change. Ice and Lightning Archmage Thunderbolt now has an improved range. Elemental Amplification now deducts 200% MP per cast of any offensive spell for an additional 50% damage when Mastered, instead of an additional 40%. Blizzard now costs 2900 MP per cast, instead of 3500 MP, when Mastered. Also Blizzard now has 600 Basic Attack, instead of 570 Basic Attack, when Mastered. Ice Demon now has 120 Basic Attack instead of 100 Basic Attack, when Mastered. Chain Lightning now has 210 Basic Attack instead of 180 Basic Attack, when Mastered. Fire and Poison Archmage Fire arrow now hits 3 monsters. Elemental Amplification now deducts 200% MP per cast of any offensive spell for an additional 50% damage when Mastered, instead of an additional 40%. Meteor now costs 2900 MP per cast, instead of 3500 MP, when Mastered. Also Meteor now has 620 Basic Attack, instead of 570 Basic Attack, when Mastered. Fire Demon now has 140 Basic Attack instead of 120 Basic Attack, when Mastered. Paralyze now has 240 Basic Attack instead of 210 Basic Attack, when Mastered. The basic attack of Explosion has been increased (attack increased from 120 base attack to 130 base attack) and casting time decreased. Thats everything that was changes for mages.
Freeze is useless if you 1 hit. Now that Elemental Amp is getting raised again (unnecessary), many 12x-13x will not have any use at all for the freeze effect of blizzard.
Yeah there's no issue there, the power difference won't matter if both I/L's and F/P's ultimates are 1-hitting the particular mob. It's when they're not, that the freeze becomes useful ^^.
