Advice on My Relationship, please.

Hi Basil, I need your advice! Basically I've been with my girlfriend for just coming up on 15 months now. We're both 17 and that is a looooong time! I really feel strongly for her and everything, but it's got to the point where I feel as though I'd like to break it off. There isn't the same pop anymore and I sometimes now am not too desperate to even see her. She is as sweet and loving as anything and she is a lot of fun, I'm just losing a lot of my feelings towards her and I'm not really stopping myself. I feel I'd rather be single again, but I also don't want to completely break her heart. The reason I'm even asking people, including all of you, what you think I should do is because I need to decide rather quickly! I'm English and I travel back to England every summer to visit my family and friends and this year the plans are being made for her to come with me for a week. Now this is around 4 months away, but the tickets will be booked quite soon and once that is done, I'm trapped with her, whether I want to be or not, for another 5 months or so! I'm just incredibly confused. Help! What do YOU think I should do? Please me at least relatively, topically serious. Thanks everyone.

If you wouldn't see her in a while, how would you feel? Do you feel you could regret it, and even after apologizing, she wouldn't take you back? Think a lot about it because this could mess you up a lot.

I did that b4 f7 a frigging hot azn girl i met in china... we both went to america and after a couple months we broke up f7. Now im single for over 3 years, cant find a good looking girl...( well none that is good enough 4 me..) well just dont

Well you might as well just stright up end it then prolong feelings that are not there. Yes it will hurt her at first but the recovery time will be quicker and spare her the suffering of having to stay with her. But thats just how I feel.

I just don't know how I could even do that to her.

Don't break it off. Tell her how you feel. I went through this 4 days ago with my boyfriend, its almost strange that someone was having the same dilemma that i was. It gets much much better after you talk it over with her. (well in my case after i talked stuff over with my boyfriend) I'm not an expert since this has only happened to me once I'm pretty confident that I know what I'm doing. My boyfriend and I have been going out for 2 years in June and I thought of all the things we've been through, It's much more worthwile to stick it out and talk things over. *takes a deep breath*
