Almost Sniper but I just realized

I just realized the 1st job skill Arrow Blow Maxed (20) is weaker than Double Shot (1) when I thought KB would be very useful, when it wasn't since I PQ'ed my way to my current level lol. Well it was fun I guess.. good to know Strafe (1) does more than DS maxed though ^^. Arrow Blow is very unstable >;( not fun! What build did you use? AB or DS? (Considering the majority would be DS) To lessen the pain, how could my AB be used as a Sniper for KB? The mp costs of them are: AB -14 (20, maxed) DS -10 (This is level 1) Strafe -26 (Will be level 1 when I get my 1st SP on job adv today hopefully :D ) Thank you Btw, this is for those who maxed either AB or DS (maybe even both O.O)

I went AB because I made my archer way back during when the AB vs DS dispute wasn't settled yet. I don't regret my decision. It does less damage, but it has uses.

3 reasons I went arrow blow. 1: I was going strless and I wanted to constant KB rombots on mcpq with AB, and it worked 90% of the time. 2: Constant KB for 3rd job advancement, only took 1 minute. 3: I wanted to be more uncommon than I was already. Due to the fact I was strless I could beat dexless sins in mcpq even with arrow blow. The important thing is have fun with it.

I wish i had gone ahead and Maxed both. I regret not having the Kb avalible to me that Ab offers. As stated By virtually everyone else, Ab has potential uses past 3rd job, whilst Ds is Completely obsolete (with the exception of rog pq).

I went AB because I made my xbowman at the time that AB was recommended for them. I still think it's rather useful over DS. Even if DS does do more damage.

i went low DS low AB (3 DS 1 AB till lvl 57, and got to 70 with 10 DS 1 AB ) Proof and More proof why? there were few good guides back then, and to my disgrae i chose one who said to mad focus and blessing before lvl 30

My skills are kinda messed up...level 9 arrow blow and maxed double shot ftw. =/ If I wasn't a noob back then, I would have had put the extra 8 points from arrow blow into Focus for that +20 acc and avoid buff. xO I went with the DS build because it typically does more damage.

Generally most monsters have low KB rates, so two KBs is better than one.

people argue over this, but they're essentially the same. You lose a bit in monster def by using double shot so in some cases the crit chances arent that big a deal...

By my experience, for KB, DS at 800 per arrow does not KB a monster of 1000 KB.

Ab because i needed a break from 60 levels of ds on my ranger. Keeps the game interesting.
