What's the story with Crimson guards these days?

I left CG's when they switched the attack of the mace with the attack of the purple one. Whats the story there now, how much do their attacks do now? Do you think it'd be better training at oblivion 2 (cuz beyond that i find to pot consuming) or at cg's if i'm soloing both?

Yeah the purple attack that goes KERSHINK is the 4,700~5,000 damage attack. You would still be better off at Temple of Time though.

I would think both are pretty similar as far as % per hour goes. If you can kill the crimson guards before they seal you, it's probably a bit faster than the poor (compared to cg) spawn and giant map at ob2.

With a fast 5 sword and booster, my hero can kill them without being sealed about 90% of the time. I think once AC is maxed they'll die before casting seal 100%

Which means you have an average damage of 30k per slash with brandish at 140+, and you're also not rushing anything either. Wut

[/quote] well i tried on my ranger just snipe with arrow rain or arrow bomb. lure them to other side with puppet then you can kill them i've also tried with a marauder, and you just combo using backspin to stun, along with stun mastery. Getting sealed was rare, only happening once in a while if i break the combo by doing something otehr than potting or backspin

Avg of about 40-50k total per brandish and not using rush or powerguard, so as not to anger any cg's that I can't immediately kill and get my behind sealed @ lv137

max MMB/BMB and SE to train on them efficiently and yes it good to do with a bishop

i actually love training at CG's o_o honestly, if your careful you will never get hit by the purple attack. although my careless -jump down- sometimes gets me scared. Anyways, if you ever do see the purple attack, just hug a cg. i get roughly 9-10%/hour, which is awesome for the price of no hp pots. wasting 500 mesos for holy waters>wasting 4k for cheese :/ i use around 200-500 holy waters, depending if i'm being careful or not. They generally only seal you once per monster, since they always seal when you aggro. After that tho, since their kb value is 0 i think, sealing isn't that much of an issue. For obliv 2, i left it once i finished the quest due to pot burn, and my hatred of the map cycle. Just curious, whats the %/hour you get at obliv 2 :o
