I just got windows 7, but now when I open MS, it says: Start Menu The item referred to by this shortcut cannot be accessed. You may not have the appropriate permissions. Help please. :D

i c Well if it was my pc i wold fig out xD happens alot anyways i Think This will prob work Go on Start GO on my Pc/computer Click onLocal Disk C were ur ms Folder is at um Click ur ms folder Nexon folder look at the maple icon right click it press run as aministrater {Sry for bad speling u get the point And if not Go on Nexon website Logg a ticket and tell them Wats happening .also i think it shold work cos the thing is ur opening ms in a shortcut it dosnt work for me when i open with a shortcut like when u right click a folder and press copy and then u press post dosnt work when u click it sry for Speling agein

EDIT: here's something... on the little Nexon folder icon, there's a little picture of a lock... Does that mean something? o.o

i have the sollution...what type of virus scanner do you use cos i had the same problem back in the days when i used AVG.... if you also use AVG put maple files in the "do not check" folder EDIT: most old virus scanners do not fully support windows 7.. just uninstall it and use microsoft essentials it is free and the best sllution for windows7 http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

gray blob, I've played Maplestory on this computer for two years, or so. Uh, when I go into the Local Disk>>Nexon Folder>>Maplestory, I can't find Maplestory.exe o____o

Help please. :D [/quote] Maple gives some problems with using shortcuts. Right click the shortcut. Properties > Shortcut > Open Target Location (all ur doing here is accessing the maplestory root file, if you know where its saved you can access it manually) Right click Maplestory > Run as administrator if this does not work then tell me.

Not only do you have to run as administrator, some time you need to change compatibility mode to either vista sp2 or xp sp3.

Also, I changed the compatibility to "Run this program as an administrator" EDIT EDIT: I changed the compatibility to XP, too.
