IP Ban Threat from Apperently a Nexon AssistantOr hacker?

Well, I just got on and walked through heneseys when i started getting strange whispers from a person named ProtectionMS, He said i was going to be banned for hacking, error 176293875692365087260582-34624356457 [isp] or something like that. and if i didn't give him my account info so he could log in he would IP ban me. But there seemed to be many flaws in his messages. I have a numerous amount of images of this and i was wondering if anybody had an idea on this? I'm not sure how i can upload the photo's to Basil like i've seen done but if you want to see them I guess I could pm a link to them or something :S I find him highly unconvincing but he happens to know the names of many Bellocan GM's. and a bunch of retarded words that sound all profesional. But I cant see why, if he wanted my details he couldn't just go through a computer and get them himself. or ban me right there and then....instead i have to wait 5 hours till im banned......Thoughts? P.S - I'm sorry if this is in wrong forum, i could make mind up weather to put it here of general maple story stuff.

Most likely fake. I'm assuming you didn't give him your info so good thinking on that part. Those yellow mapletips that pop up that no one reads always say never to give out your info cuz Nexon employees will never ask you for it in game.

The GMs will NEVER ask you for your account information. This is a scam, and you should report it to Nexon immediately. I've worked with GMs through emails to get some bugs fixed, and they have never once asked me for my account information, even though it would be the best way for them to witness the bugs themselves. At the same time, I also have an email from a GM to a friend of mine, but I have to ask her for permission before I even think of posting it. It involves her being wrongfully banned, and the GM requesting her to do something - Which they could have easily done them self, but their policy strictly states: A GM will never ask you for your account name, or password. If someone claims to be working for Nexon, and they ask you for your information, report it to Nexon immediately. EDIT - If this is in-game, request that they wear their GM Hat. They should also have the fancy "GM" thing over their head. =)

Its fake, no gm will ever ask you for your personal information, neither he or she will for your account information, you can upload pictures to the internet by using a upload site , for images, I prefer imageshack.us .

Uhm dude, i know that dude. He done the same to me. Hes a friend of my friends friend. Which is now not my friend since he accused me of hacking him. :P I know right. his real char name is xxElkmanxx report him. He has like more then 5 accounts with names that looks like gms. Dont worry. He started it on me 1st. He was sitting behind the tree where you enter to MM. kthnxbai =]
