Fire/Poison Mage or Ice/Lightning Mage?

I am having a really hard time deciding what kind of mage i should be? Fire/Poison or Ice/Lightning? Tell me why i should be that kind of mage. Thanks for helping.

depends. it really comes down to the ability to freeze or dmg. Even though lightning spear dows the most dmg its slow and lots of enemies arent weak to lightning. I, personally , would go with fire becasue explosion is kooler XP.

i am a litning mage rite now i say depends wut u want, if u want mob control n freeze, den is ice/lit but if u wan power n poison(which isnt rly dat good) den u should go wit fire but dere r a lot more things dat r weak against fire but FA taks a longer tim 2 cast so u hav 2 tak all dat into consideration

Go I/L Explosion gets boring as its basically a multi-hit fire arrow. That may seem good, but at those levels its quite weak. And to the person about Thunder Spear is that you almost always will get Magic Booster first.

go ice/light.... at least you will effectivley use both of your elements. Poisin isn't too useful, and while fire may be powerful, one element gets boring at times. seeing as how you probably won't get to third job advancement, (as most people won't), lightning will help with mob control and ice will help freeze. if you plan on ludi pq-ing, lightning comes in handy when fighting boss when it spawns chronos. just my 2 cents. =D

fire/posion fire does most dmg in 2nd job and in 3rd job posion mist does dmg to a mob of monster then u can wait till it is like 1 hp and use attack to wack the monster xD

Have you seen Thunderspear or Ice strike before? Also, if by "New arrow" you mean composition, I/L mages get that as well, but with different elements and colors on the attack.
