i do not understand nexon.the new recent class is obviously overpowered in ALL WAYS. they have all kind of damage reduction skills, high mastery, tons of passive skills that add tons of extra weapon atk, only melee class with critical, all of those beastly atking skills do superb damage on 1vs1 and mobs and so on. nexon obviously made them these strong on purpose, but why?will hey balance the other classes out? lets discuss about these interesting class. EDIT:sorry what i ment to say is only melee class that can critical on both bossing and training scenarios EDIT2:sorry again,i want to talk and discuss about the 4th job arans.

I saw a vid of a 1xx training on dragon tutrles, and it took many hits to kill them. They may have amazing akills and such, but i think their damage formula is weaker. Also, many of those skills (and attacks for that matter) cannot be used untill you have a certain combo count.

Also, many of those skills (and attacks for that matter) cannot be used untill you have a certain combo count. so far i know they use the same damage formula as PA dks but with faster speed. Also that video is from the test server. He was still using a karstan and probably had all clean equips. Yes they do need a certain combo count to be able to perform some of these skill, but u have to remember that the minimun combo counter an aran needs to start kicking serious butt is above 50(most of the powerfull skills passive/active are available at 50 counter)and with big mobs it doesnt take more than 4 seconds to charge it up. |

It's depressing. Because you need to keep your combo up, it's contradictive for them to use their Ice ability when fighting Fire monsters because they'd just die too quickly. But I suppose Freezing monsters is a pretty cool thing =]

so far i know they do not freeze or have any elemental advantage.they gain at 3rd job a snow ability that doesnt add any elemetal damage, instead it slows enemys. at 4th job they do get a skill that freezes, but in practice is very similar to paladins heavens hammer. It reduces enemys hp to 1 and freezes them as if a paladin used a HH with ice charge. The skill hits 4 times for about 1500% and needs 300 combo counter to be casted. It seems it is a very usefull bossing skill, but im not sure of these. The reason why most of the aran we see on videos train on higher lvl monsters than they should for their lvl is becouse they kill mobs far faster than any other class in game except for those than can 0HKO.Since the more they hit the more powerfull they get, they need mobsa with higher hp to keep the counter growing. The best example for these is the first ranked aran video posted here on basil.U can see clearly how that lvl 16x aran manages to 3 and 4 hit kill big mobs of 140k hp monsters easily once the counter is above 50;i dont know any othewr class that can actually kill at that speed at TOT

The point in the aran class is to hit many small hits, and then hit one big finisher. This is exactly how you are going to train the whole career.

Korean thats not exactly true;these can be applied for a 3rd jobber but not for a 4th jobber.Once the aran has both critical and the amazingly high 90% mastery and 10+xtra wep atk passive high mastery skill gives those small hits wont be small anymore as soon as the aran gets above 50 hits(note that max critical is available at 60 counter with 60% critical chance and a 60% damage addition.)

That's why you have Smart Knockback, if you're not going to use finishers. But what you're saying seems like the 4th jobber will never use finishers. It will use finishers and buffs every time he/she gets a certain number of combos. Even though critical percentage may rise every few combos, the number of mobs and mobility will prevent you from keeping that combo count high forever.

Smart knockback makes u knockback monsters easily ,it doesnt add any damage. The true usefullness of these skill can only be applied on bosses.i dont know why u even mentioned these skill.enlighten me plox.
