| They stole 10 dollars from me buying NX. I gave them legitimate proof like they asked me to as in store number, receipt number, card number, etc. I sent a ticket and look at the response. Greetings Peter, Thank you for contacting Nexon America's Customer Support team. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble redeeming your NX Card. The card code you have provided is valid in our system and has not yet been redeemed. You should make sure that your card is activated. To do this, you should take the card and your receipt back to the store of purchase and ask them to activate it. Please be aware that we cannot activate it for you nor can we redeem it to your account for you. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. Have a nice day. Sincerely, GM Diatia Nexon America, Inc. OUTRAGEOUS. They can't redeem or give me NX in anyway? Seems like horse crap to me. |

 | Um... listen to what they said... go back to the store you bought it from with the reciept they gave you and see if they can activate the card or make sure it is activated. Seriously, that is more than likely the problem - sometimes a system goes down or it's as simple as the person ringing in the card forgot to activate the card (meaning the code won't work until it is). Once you sort that out from the store, try it again and it should work just fine. Instead of blaming NEXON (which in this case was ridiculous) and making this lame whiner thread, you should have taken their advice... in this case, it's probably not even something within their control. |

The cashier didn't activate the card and you didn't make sure the card was activated by the cashier. So Nexon really has nothing to do with this. They don't have any way of activating the card themselves because it all takes place at the store you bought the card at. My advice is to take it back to the exact same store you bought it from, with the receipt, and tell them to activate it. If they say they can't, ask to see the manager. If the manager says the same thing, then maybe you're better off buying it from a different store next time. |
