and I think he broke his leg. What do I do? We're too poor to go to the vet

Well he holds his leg like bent in a way when he stands. He can walk fine. In fact the little bastard is jumping up and biting my shorts.

well if it's broken you need to pull the two sides of the broken bones apart to make it grow back together properly

If you care about your dog, I would bring it to the vet anyway. Something serious could have happened, it's better safe than sorry.
