Personally I believe it was orchestrated by the United States government and heads of the large transnational corporations in order to secure a puppet government in the middle east and be able to make sure North America has a reserve of oil and other resources in the area.

I personally think that it was terrorism but I can understand why people would think that the government planned it. Maybe someone should go in and force someone in the government that knows to admit it to the people but that would cause an outrage and probably a coup d'teat.
