I'd like to make a pirate as soon as they are out in eMS, but I can't decide which one. I am a patient person with a decent amount of money for funding (and NX for hp washing, if necessary) I'd like to be a class that will be desired for parties and bossing. I like the look of guns a lot and Gunslingers are as far as I know the strongest class in 4th job. And I'm not going to lie, I LOVE damage! But with their lack of HP Increase, hp washing seems like a necessary move. (So in short, a lot like Sins) But Brawlers seems to be the kind of class that is decent strong through their entire career, and their support skills would still make them popular at bossing. But I am not too fond of the whole.. kicking/punching thing. xD Feel free to correct any statement and tell me your opinions~

Sounds like (if you can get through the hell levels in 1st and 2nd job) Slinger is for you.

Brawlers own. There skills are so cool and you get so many in 2nd job to keep you interested. Marauder is fun too, at least in the beginning for me.

Why dont you try both? :3 Try slinger first, its sounds like your in for them the most. Get to like lvl 50, and if you dont like it... then try make a brawler.

well, i've been asked for zakum a few times, but sairs are way stronger in the 4th job, you'll get into CWPQ easy enough if you know people. and i know a high lvl slinger, and he easely outlvld a buccaneer who's also in my guild by training at anego! soo if you like bossing, you'll get in because of SI(buccaneer) or because of your dmg(corsaiyer)

What do you mean by "not too fond of the kicking/punching thing"? Do you mean in terms of gameplay mechanics or role-playing? Also, if HP is the only thing holding you back from choosing a Corsair, then I'd suggest you make one anyway. Hp washing isn't necessary at all; it just lets you fight strong bosses a few levels earlier. There's nothing wrong with finding a friend with HB or using HP equips during those times. As for PB, that's a different story on HP requirements. But how much are Buccs wanted at PB anyway?

Well, idk if ems has CK yet, but if they do, DEFINATELY, DEFINATELY, make a Thunder Breaker ( Or whatever they're called in ems) 5k dmg at lv 50? (dexless, good equips) Pretty amazing. I made him my main because of his godly damage... But If theres no CK yet, Brawlers. Fairly expensive to maintain, but GREAT characters to have... I've had like 5 slingers and I never liked any of them... (max lv 65...) I know I didn;t lv him that high, but I just didn't enjoy it Have fun with your decision! ^^

Be a gunslinger. Note that brawlers are near the same as warriors, but lower HP while slingers are similar to assassins, but have a higher DPM.
