| It's very simple. I have some sentences that I'd like you to fix, just for the fun of it. After reading the sentence, you can: 1 - Fix it by rewriting it/state the grammar principle being violated 2 - Choose no error I'll start with just a couple... Fix - He went to the Freemarket, an occurence that caused his death. (gobipie) Principle - Missing antecedent. "He went to the Freemarket" does not link directly. THIS IS A VERY HARD THING TO SPOT. THERE'S NO REAL RULE FOR THIS. I just took a more obvious example. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO SPOT THE HARD ONES. 13) He has a bad case of triskaidekaphobia and might fall ill. Fix - He has a bad case of triskaidekaphobia and may fall ill. (gobipie) Principle - Might, just like would, could, should is all past tense. We sometimes can use these for politeness or formality.
