Weird shop problem?

I've been trying to set up a shop for a while and everytime I open up, 2 minutes later I d/c. Once I didn't even get to open it and I d/ced before that. I don't lag or anything when I'm in the FM entrance or in general. Eventually while in the shop, everything just stops and freezes, then when I try to do something (like talk) the screen goes black and it brings me back to the login page saying I got disconnected from the server. What are possible reasons this is happening? Edit: Now it happens if I don't move or do anything for a small while

only reason I can think of is bad internet connection, My desktop plugs right into the internet so I usually don't d/c unless I unplug the cord.

hmm, right now mine is plugged into a router, but I guess I can try plugging directly into the modem and see if that works, thanks

Sumone could be DCING you so they can take your fm spot. Thats one reason I can think of besides bad internet connection

i don't think i'm getting d/ced because somebody would have to be following me around ( this is since last night) and i was in a room with nobody but shopkeepers Edit: and it's not my connection either, because why would it disconnect only when opening a shop?

Um..I am not sure if it'll help,but I heard that people mostly D/C in stores because they keep the Maple Story window minimized.So I suggest that you keep the Maple Story window on,and if your computer is not only yours you can just leave it to all the night and ask other people to not touch it.If you have your own computer than it's not even a problem I guess.

Best things to do to minimize all pressure on ur system: Right click on desktop and unshow thumbnails. Close any running programs such as MSN, iCQ, Internet. You might be able to change your resolution to low as well as the resolution in the game. Block all text possibilities such as guild chats, buddies etc and tick the minus button on the chat to minimize the chat box. Some ppl say that this problem occurs to them after they have been in the same guild for a long time so try leaving and rejoining. That's pretty much everything I can give you, good luck with your problem.
