Steps to Transfer MS onto a USB DRIVE. HELP:

Can someone please give me the a full list of steps to transfer Maple Story onto a USB drive. * I need the whole MS, not just the short cut. My mom won't let me download it onto the computer downstairs but i'd still like to play from a USB drive, last time i tried this i only was able to download the ms shortcut. *If i have to make a folder can someone teach me how? Thank YOU. all help is so much appreciated. :] ===ONE MORE QUESTION! IS THIS SUPPOST TO TAKE MORE THEN 50MIN TO COPY? O.O===

open compueter then go into c drive find nexon folder then drag ms into usb drive with at least 2gb

Go to my computer>C drive>nexon>copy the folder "maplestory" into ur USB drive

install it on another computer, and transfer NEXON folder to USB. I dont think there is any other wway

its easy lol. Nexon Folder goes into USB folder. Done. USB Folder should be in C: Drive at "Computer"

1.download maple(if you havn't.) 2.start>my computer>c: drive or whatever>nexon folder. 3.right click the nexon folder and copy it. 4.put in your usb, and paste the nexon folder in it. 5. delete mapelstory on your comp because you now have it on your usb plug in and play ;D i hope i helped

if u cant install the game at all on ur pc do this: download the setup file from maplestory.nexon.net, open the file and start the installment, when it asks u where u want to install it [c:/nexon/maplestory will be default] change it to ur usb drive's name and start installing it there. unplug usb drive, plug it again where ever u want and play ms o.o; if u allready have the game installed on one of ur PCs: go to C:/Nexon/MapleStory, copy that folder and paste it to ur usb drive. as simple as that. this is, btw how i play on my brother's laptop whevener i need to leech my bandit at HH =O

Playing off a flash drive won't let you patch, though. And it's best if you copy the files to the C: drive of the target computer afterwards. Playing off a USB drive is slightly slower than off of the C: drive, I'd think.

Renzo : Playing off a flash drive won't let you patch, though. And it's best if you copy the files to the C: drive of the target computer afterwards. Playing off a USB drive is slightly slower than off of the C: drive, I'd think. u can patch i play on my usb.

or a way better alternative is - expecting that both computer is connected to the same network - is just take the maplestory folder and drop it into your downstairs shared folder. that transfer is way faster than putting it on any usb drive, and it will work perfectly.

you have ms installed somewhere or you need installing? there are 2 ways to have ms on a USB: -open your C directory, Go to Nexon folder, drag the Maple Story Folder to a USB and wait it copy, then you can use it on other computers, and if you wanna hide it on that computer also, just go and uninstall from that computer after copying. (this if you have Maple installed) -download MSSetup from the site, start the installation process, when choosing where to install choose the USB drive, wait it install, delete the shortcuts from your computer and go to programs and 'uninstall' maple story from computer (dunno why, but it appears on programs even if you installed directly on the usb), then you'll have same effect as if you had installed it on your C drive and drag into USB. (use this if you don't have it installed yet.)
