My computer, Windows XP 2000, account is limited access, so I was wondering if I'd be able to play Maple Story if I had a USB with Maple Story downloaded onto it. If I can't, is there any other way I can play without changing to an admin account? Thanks in advance.

You cannot play maple on a limited account. Back in June, HackShield decided to require administrator access. If you try to play, you will get a HackShield Error 263. We are currently working on a way around this. This is what we have so far: http://forum.nexon.net/MapleStory/forums/1/2970704/ShowThread.aspx (Darrick's HackShield folder with ShadowUser) However, most--if not all--of those who downloaded this folder are now experiencing disconnecting problems and still cannot play.

Run in safe-mode, enter as admin, create guest account, restart computer, log in on guest, install maple, PROFIT.

Want to tell me how to run in safe-mode and enter as an admin? I've tried it and it didn't work.

Herro : Run in safe-mode, enter as admin, create guest account, restart computer, log in on guest, install maple, PROFIT. if he could enter as admin i don't think he would be asking and currently, no there is no way that works right now edit: @above, i don't think he knows what he is talking about

To get into safe mode. =>Turn off computer =>Wait 20seconds =>Turn it back on =>Just as it turns on keep pressing F8 =>Then it will ask you to enter a state =>Select Safe Mode =>Then the Welcome Screen will come up =>Click on Administrator To return to normal, just restart your computer. [Edit] Btw. I don't even think that works to run Maple. Because Safe Mode doesn't open selected drivers and programs needed to run Maple.
