How do you get rid of a negative denominator? i feel ridicolous asking this... /just passed geometry and does not remember algebra 1 :<

I'm guessing you multiply by -1/divide by 1 Or you can just use your eraser.

so like i just found the slope of an equation from given 2 points on a line the m turned out to be 7/-10 i remember you're never supposed to have a negative denominator

There's nothing against having a negative slope. It'll just mean your graph is going down. Edit: nvm, too hard to draw out a line with a negative slope.
