I took Algebra 1 in 9th grade cause I'm a normal person who follows a normal person's schedule progression.

Algebra 2 isn't uncommon for 9th graders anymore; more students are in AP or Pre-IB, such as me.

I could be taking Algebra 2, but chose to just stick with Geometry. I have 3 friends in pre-calculus because two took Alg. 2 over the summer and 1 moved from Kentucky so he's a year ahead in math.
