orangesmile : All of my family lives on Long Island and most of them visit Montauk fairly often, i'm a city kid though. Amazing shot though, the weather was perfect for this shot. The camera must have been excellent too, what kind is it? paulpker121 likes NYC a lot. The weather actually had no clouds, that was just a group of clouds that passed right after paulpker121 took the snap. paulpker121 has the lowest-end, cheapest Canon dSLR, the Rebel XS. He thinks that the camera doesn't matter... paulpker121 is very grateful for the kind comments, it's relieving getting commented on by people other than professional photographers that are crazy things like straight horizon and the rule of thirds... That picture looks like taken using HDR technique. (Using software to combining 3 or more of the same shots but each with a progressively (-0.5,0,+0.5,...) different exposure, and keeping the same aperture setting).
