Recoil Shot

I have 18 points in gun mastery right now, and 1 point in invisible shot. The guide I am using says to max invis after mastery, but I'm not very patient and want to fly around and have a FJ like skill. So my main question is, is it worth it to follow a build like this? 30: 1 into invis 31-36: 18 into mastery 37: 2 into mastery, 1 into wings 38: 3 into wings 39: 1 into wings, 2 into recoil 40: 3 into recoil 41: Start putting into invis and follow guide I know that I won't train as fast if I do this ^ but I'm not sure if I'll make it through the hell levels and I want to use RS. What is the difference between a lvl 5 and maxed recoil?

I would say no, because it isn't really worth it getting low level recoil shot when you could be maxing an attack skill.

Recoil doesn't work that way. There's a set interval in which it takes a few SP for the distance that Recoil throws you back increases. 5 SP into Recoil is not going to give you the results you want and it will cripple your training speeds unless you happen to be with a very good CPQ party or trade win with consistent people.

Don't do that man. All the time I see 3X gunslingers floating and recoiling around. Sure it's fun for the first few minutes, but it's gonna be hell when you get back to training. 5 Recoil Shot is no fun anyways. Recoil Shot isn't even that fun period. No where near as much fun as Flash Jump.
