so i got suspended for a month for a bunch of dif posts cause i got in an argument which was pretty much my fault. some of the bans i understood but some i didnt break any rules and was expressing my opinion about stereotypes about americans and my opinions about the war thats happenning. i kinda thought that the first ammendment made me aloud to express my opinions and it seems kind of annoying that basil suspended me because i did.

van1330gg : So.. I never pressed the button on the bottom yet o.o...what's gonna happen? http://www.basilmarket.com/show/rules That button simply submits the information in the "age" and "sex" forms. You are bound to those laws when you create an account on BasilMarket.com.

i didnt break any rules thats the point. i thought it was dumb that i got suspended for at least twice as long as according to the basil rules, and american rights, i shouldve. plus ill never had a chance of being a mod...not that i ever really wanted to but still...

StrikerF : just curious has anyone ever seen their avatar on the rules page? Well, it's totally random, so I wouldn't be that surprised if I did. But no. As for this thread, there is no first amendment on the internet. If you haven't already noticed, the internet is accessible from any country, not just those who follow the First Amendment and similar laws. Oh yeah, and Basil is from Canada. Though it's hosted in Texas.

SilentShoot : Your on basil, your "rights" are replaced by these rules. This. Same thing goes in school or anything other place, you can't say whatever you want because once you get on there property your rights change. Also there are many, many ways to get past each of the amendments.
