Atk shields are rather costly these days. My 16/8 maple shield is more or less 1 bil, but you should aim for a 14+ atk shield as an end game shield. If you have the money, make a reverse executioner, that will be a great end game wep

kakarashii : How do you get a MoN exactly? Each of the 4 CWKPQ bosses drop one. I think your gear seems pretty solid. I would have some suggestions, however... First and foremost, what you said about making new shoes. I am guessing Garnets give accuracy? That's a good idea. DEX on the other hand, unless you need the DEX for a Stonetooth, don't worry much about it. Instead, use Topaz/Amethyst(?) to boost speed and maybe use a Power Crystal on it instead to boost the base STR (something you can't scroll). DEX does not give a great deal of accuracy, so like I said, unless you want to equip a Stonetooth, don't bother with boosting too much DEX... especially if you're normal DEX. Actually, I'd also want to ask... what IS your base DEX? Like I was saying before, unless your gear is needed for a ST, you may want accuracy, not DEX. For end-game gear... to be honest, I'd say to train in the Temple of Time and hunt for Time Pieces. Once you get enough and all other alchemic ingredients, forge Reverse armour and weapons or use a Stonetooth if you prefer. Remember that this gear self-upgrades and can be scrolled on top of that. You can even forge it with crystals and gems to make it all even more powerful. I personally reccomend the overall and shoes, boosting for STR, speed and accuracy (or STR, DEX and accuracy if you REALLY need it for a Stonetooth). Gloves are a bit of a grey area... but if you wanna go for a full set and self-scroll gloves, make the Reverse as well. Weapons are the other issue. In my personal opinion, if you don't have an atk shield, don't bother getting one... and if you do, it's up to you to keep it or sell it. From my experience, sword prices have gone down... but shield prices have stayed stable... and are often rather expensive. To get the shield I have (14/7 Black Phoenix Shield), you're looking at spending over 300m... AND you'd want to get either a strong Reverse Executioner or a super-godly Red Katana if you want the best possible outcome, so that's even more mesos. Your other option is using all of that cash on a powerful Stonetooth (I'd try for 117 or more) or save up the Time Pieces for a Reverse Niblehiem. The only real risk of the Reverse weapons is that you'll have to self-scroll them. They do self-upgrade though, which is a plus. Ultimately, a well-scrolled Reverse weapon will do as well as a well-scrolled ST or RK... but the choice is yours. For your weapon specificly (since it's your biggest issue in the long run), you need to ask (or answer for us) these questions: 1) What is the atk of my current weapon? 2) Do I have a shield with 12 or more atk? 3) How much do I have to spend currently (before upgrading my armour)? Questions 2 and 3 are the most important. If you have less than 300m and don't have a shield with 12 or more atk, you're going 2-handed... you will not likely be able to afford a shield, let alone a weapon to compliment it. If you DO have a 12+ atk shield, do you have enough to get a super-godly Red Katan

No problem, folks =p Um, well let's see... ICutMySelfXP - your options are very broad. You can buy a shield and 1-h sword. Your advantage to that is a faster attack. The disadvantage to it is a lower damage range... even with the shield. I currently (and very fortunately) use a 119 attack, 5 STR (self-scrolled of course) Lunchbox with a 14 attack, 7 STR Black Phoenix Shield. Before I got to 120, I used a 117 attack, 11 STR Devil's Sunrise. I compared my damage range for both equip options when I was level 120 and learned that even with more atk and STR, the Lunchbox and shield gave me a lower base damage range. The simple reason behind this is because a 1-h sword does less damage than a 2-h sword even if they have the same atk/STR on them. The only main advantage is speed - a 1-h sword is commonly "fast" while a 2-h sword is commonly "normal", though there are different levels of speed within those classifications. A Stonetooth is the only example of a higher-level 2-h sword with speed comparable to a 1-h sword... which is why so many people use one. There are only two 1-h swords in existance that have a degree of speed that can compare or outright shatter the attack speed ratio of a Stonetooth - the Red Katana and the Lunchbox. Both of these 1-h swords are classified as "fast", but their speed ranking is so high within that classification that if they were any degree faster, their classification would read "faster". These are the only two high-level swords in the game that can max out your attack speed when you cast Booster! The only thing is, however, that the Stonetooth gets the advantage of a higher damage range being 2-handed. Most 1-h sword users are one of three types of people - ones who are DEXless and don't have the DEX to use a Stonetooth, ones who prefer 1-h swords and don't care too much about DPM and whatever or three, someone who got really freakin' lucky with a 1-h weapon (like me). About 1 year ago, things were actually very different - 1-h sword users were the cheaper option. The reason simply was because Stonetooth Swords were obscenely rare and extortionately priced... even one like yours would be worth close to 300m. A clean one was worth 500-800m! Going 1-handed was cheaper, simply because shields were cheaper than Stonetooths. That is when the Lunchboxes came out. Anyone who was blessed enough to get a Lunchbox (and was a sword warrior)... and of course didn't blow it up trying to scroll it (or failed scrolling it) pretty much went 1-handed on the spot, since it was a strong, blisteringly-fast weapon that you couldn't trade or get another one of (can't even be karma'd). And of course, it compared to a Stonetooth directly. Then something happened that changed things - Gachapon Box events. Both events (though primarily the second) flooded the market with Stonetooths. Now, prices dropped immensely and people even tried risky-scrolling, making "godly" Stonetooths. Well-scrolled STs dropped to 200m or less, driving the prices of
