With the release of Heart Gold and Soul Silver in the future, and the recent discovery of my GBA SP in the back of my desk, I've decided to quench my thirst for Pokemon nostalgia by buying Leaf Green, which I miraculously never bought at the time it came out. So, Basil, What did you think of the remakes? Were they as good as the originals? Was it your favourite of the Pokemon games? Your least favourite? Why? Did the addition of the Sevii Islands ruin it for you? Just tell me about what you thought of the game.

i beat fire red and i thought it was almost the same as my blue version so i thought it was great and i hope heart gold will be awesome like gold

My god. I remember ordering 1 firered and 1 leafgreen version online. It would only arrive in a week though. And then I went to the mall, saw the games, I COULDN'T RESIST and I bought both of them right there. And then the other 2 I ordered arrived in the mail D: so I gave them to my friends. 100$ wasted.

Spork : Oh no. I don't want to do the glitches. I never was for hacking or any of that jazz. Mew glitch is pretty legit, no gameshark or w/e. Glitch city is just a glitched city where everything looks weird, just for fun. Does not affect gameplay.

xlrAcer5 : I loved Jhoto, but I don't have a DS anymore, so I'm sad to not be able to play it. You have until Spring for the English version. BUY ONE. EDIT: I don't even want to do the glitches. It can corrupt your save files, but that isn't really my main concern. I just think that it ruins the RPG effect.
