What lvl should a thief cap dex?

Well I'm currently a lvl 41 sin with 78 dex, and someone told me I should cap it at 80. Which seems way too low? So I'm wondering what lvl should my base dex be, what kinda equips to look for and the prices of them how much it will basically cost in the end. Also should I switch to STR dit or remain a LUK dit? I'm also funding as I go currently have 60mil, will probably have 100mil when I'm done selling my scrolls. I don't mind merchanting to get a lot of money. EDIT: As of now I have 170mil I managed to scroll a 10 ATT WG and sold it for 100m . Anything I can do with this money?

I stopped at DEX+100. Getting DEX+60 is hard from equips when you don't have the money to buy those pants with DEX. Plan out your equips and their stat bonuses before stopping. If you don't know yet, it's better to stop now than later because you'll have to use NX cash to fix your mistake. STR builds are currently stronger, just because of equipments available. Remember that those shields have a DEX requirement (120 and 150). Getting 40-50 on DEX is obtainable but with your funding, I don't think so. Getting 60 more will require a lot more.

Look for equips that can give what you need = DEX(STR too, if you want) Deputy star: 5 DEX, 5 STR, Zhelm 15 DEX, 15 STR, DEX or STR cape, DEX shoes, maybe thief gloves with DEX bonus, DEX bottom, STR top... All depends of your money, you have to plan everything before putting more points on secondary stats

Mine on my hermit is capped at 110 (HIGH) cap it at 90 or 100. 100 if you dont got like 10000 Billions. and converting to a STR dit might not be to bad =D

STR dits suck. They say they are more stable, but luk adds more to minumum damage AND maximum dmg then str. However, once a str bandit gets khanjar, that all changes. I'm not sure, but I think they are equal-ish. I heard str dits are the best type 120+ cuase of the sheild. Turn to str later on, for now, plan out luk and dex.

Ha I'm like level 58, and my plan is to keep it capped at 70. Cause I have 33 dex in my equips. But I'll probably get it to 80 or 90 later on.

Well I think I'm gonna do some math and people say cap your dex at about 80? Dragon Khanjar = 150 Dex Therefore your gonne need 70 dex from equips? All I can think of is +15 Zakum Helmet, +22 from Horntail Pendant, +10 from shoes and cape?, and +10 from earings? So 15+22+10+10+10= 66? And all those equips would be brutally expensive
