I know the obvious choice is max Sharp Eyes first, but I'm WAYY too poor for that. (Average mesos at any given time = below 50m) So, I was wondering what a good alternative would be. Bow Expert or Hurricane? I'll obviously max SE as soon as possible, but until I can afford a book, should I max one of the other core skills? My friend said that Bow Expert is the best choice if I can't max SE first, is that a good idea? O_o

Sharp Eyes first only makes you more wanted in Bossing parties. Considering if you put 1 point in Phoenix and DB, the best solo DPM build by level 130 is 21 Hurricane, 9 SE and 1 Expert (beats 29 SE 1 Hurricane and 1 Bow Expert by alot). If you can't afford SE 20 this is probably your best build to look at. I had a list of builds written somewhere with calculations but I can't find them, so this is from the top of my head.

SE first makes best DPM, though sometimes it costs too much. Here's a decent build for you: 120: 1 Hurricane 2 SE 121-123: 10 SE 1 BE 124: 3/4 BE (depends on your preferences) After this, just start putting points into hurricane. EDIT: Forgot DB. Put a point into that whenever you feel like it. Just remember, the earlier, the better.

Put a point into that whenever you feel like it. Just remember, the earlier, the better. Maxing SE first does not give you the best SOLO DPM, however it is the best for partying. But yes most BMs should get at least 9 SE ASAP with a point in other skills, then continue to work on a certain build.

If I put it in a question, I see that you know some stuff and some more info that you find could help you decide. If it's a statement, most likely, I think you know little to nothing about Bowmen or need heavy guidance. So, just some handy advice for you :P

Just nothing about merchanting prices for Bowman items. My first character back in december '06 was a bowman. It's all I've ever had. But thanks for the advice xD
