I was thinking that when the time for cpq rolled around ( i was level 27 when thinking) i would want to not be a pot burner... but i AM a blaze wiz, and pillar tends to be a pot burner... so from 27-30 all in mp. My mp FLEW out of the sky and its 3200 and level 33.... and it works! people LOVE me for spamming my (level 8) pillar lol.... and i dont take the pots. You probably think "well put so much in mp, your magic will be low." but it's not. I'm lukless, so even though i lost that 20ish int, im still more powerful than the avg BW..... was this smart of me? I encouraged a friend to do, and he loved it.. DAYUM THAT BOII HE OUTLEVELED ME BY 18 he was 6 below me :[ man apparently it works...

If, wherever you train, that 20int does not affect you killing the monsters in more hits than it would have if you hadn't put 20int into mp, then it's fine.

How does 20 points in mp help you that much? You're still using sorcerers, which recovers a set amount of mp. Mp recovery is not affected by your max mp either. Also, would you rather spend 62k nx later on ap resets or 10 mil more of pots?

Actually everyone, it doesn't. I've noticed that in cpq, i see level 45-50s hitting 300s with claw. Is this normal or fail. If it is normal, i have concluded that, since magic claw's level won't go up, it stays around the relative dmg of 300-400. mione hits anywheere from 200-400, and most of the monsters i can take easily. As for pillar, it works wonders for questing, mobbing, and training. i spent 31-32 at evil eyes (before i noobishly hear about cellions grupins and lioners xD) just spamming. i did the sleepywood rememberer evil eye quest... and i leveld. Another massive confusion is, at 32, 50 xp monsters with pendant of spirit leveled me quickly. At 33, 65 xp monsters with pendant of spirit took about 45 mins.... Im guessing cpq is the thing to do till i can pwn at mutaes.... btw what level should i go to mutaes? @ csenger, i use pure waters. plus, its not mp recovery that makes more mp useful, its the fact that i dont need to pot frequently, due to having much mp to spare. And why on earth would i ap reset? It's not like i accidentally did this.

Heboric : LOL 800mp for 1600mesos when u can use 1500mp for 1500mesos? i think you're confusing mp with hp. mp pots are always twice the amount that they recover.

no... go to NLC and you can get pots that recover 1500 mp for 1500 mesos or 60% of your mp for 2800 mesos.

lol, you ruined your character AND someone else's because you didn't look around for pots.

Not sorcerer elixirs, they heal 1.5k mp and they cost 1.5k, you get them from NLC.

i went luck less and didnt add points into mp i was fine in cpq but it turned out to be slower than training at lv 32 cold eyes all the way if you can afford the pots btw nlc pots much more efficient than avg pots in other towns % healers and the best mp healer in the world: sorcerers, as soon as you hit 750mp+ in any job, use those

Oh, and just to make you feel really good: Every 10 INT gives you 1 more MP at level up. So sure, you have more MP now. But every single level, for the rest of your maple career, will net you 2 less MP than someone who added int. In a 50 or 60 levels, they will catch up, and then have more MP.

Sorry, this is slightly off-topic, but where should a 38 luckless BW train? I tried various things in Magatia, and they were awesome, but since I'm not a very high level as of now, I miss some and can't kill efficiently. Would Cold Eyes, Magatia monsters, or Jr Kitties be best at my level? :O OT: Ouch, dude. I mean, you kind of wasted 20 AP. It may not affect you too much in the long run, but 20 INT is 20 INT.

Umm, not sure about the Jnr Kitties since i didn't try them, but i didn't have much trouble hitting those mutae things at your level (low luk BW). Although, personally, i trained at Cold Eyes from lvl 31 - 42 since i could kill them fast and leveled once every 35-45mins ish (at your level and up). Mind you this was just on 1x exp with the spirit pendant thing equipped. OT: Your method may have yielded short term benefits, but that 20INT will come back to bite you later on ^^"" |

I never noticed my mp getting drained in cpq. Not any more then other characters with health. Honestly that was not a smart idea. Will that extra mp help you any more? Unless there is a severe lack of pots in cpq you shouldn't have to worry about running out of mp on a BW
