why cant blaze wiz hit tusk

well i did the quest in NLC and my Blaze Wiz couldnt hit the fire tusk... i mean he did only 1 dmg each hit... can enyone explain plz? ty alot guys p.s - sry about my english its not vary good...

Yeah, Fire tusks have a fire resistance, even with low elemental reset it doesn't work.

Csenger : Fire immune. so there is no like no possible way for blaze wizards to kill them? that's pretty stupid if it doesnt allow you to do a quest. you would have to get a party member to do it for you o.O

But i/ls can use magic claw, where as Blaze wizard's magic claw is still fire type

Fire tusks are immune to fire. Not just strong, but totally immune. Even a level 200 lukless fire archmage with perfect 10%/30% scrolled equips spamming meteor on them would still do 1 damage per hit (lol). You'll just have to work on getting elemental reset to a decent level, or else talk a friend into helping you instead. Otherwise, you'll be spending an hour+ on a single fire tusk. They're only like level 30 or 40 or so though, so it shouldn't be too hard to find someone who could help.
