So i was looking through basil, then my window said that basil had malware viruses from ads.[Internet browser is Google Chrome] My Question is "Is basil still safe to use with those ads?" http://s388.photobucket.com/albums/oo328/eric0821/?action=view¤t=BasilViruses.jpg (photobucket)

Yes it is safe, as long as you close the virus site as soon as it pops up

Get Mozzila Firefox(don't have to if you already have one) and get the "Adblock Plus" Add-on. It basically blocks almost each and every Ad.

My laptop got a virus from ads too. I'm not sure if they originated from basil but it definately was the ads. I got it removed a few days ago along with some other spyware and something called 'inforstealer'. <currently using a hell lot of protectors>

^ Download Mozilla Firefox (another web browser), and with that, download the add-on "AdBlock Plus."
