Pretty decent guide. However, unfortunately, it seems that this guide, much like your FA one, isn't getting much attention.

probably because there's so many mis/uninformed idiots that think hybrids need to carry 2 weapons and whatnot etc etc etc ~_~ also apparently going hybrid is really confusing for some people lol, i mean...threads like o hey i have 19 mastery at level 40...CAN I STILL GO HYBRID :O! like, sorry but... duh <___< i wish Ed would publish his guide. :D *edit* i wonder if i was this bad when i started out my drk lol...maybe i was ~_~ if so i apologize

I know it's a given to most, but you should include 3 Sac in the 3rd job build before Roar (or leave a footnote).

the part where it says hits higher is misleading i hit as high as i would hit if i were pure spear or pure polearm it's having access to both polearm fury and spear crusher + fury that makes hybrid a better choice than pure, not that you necessarily hit harder ~_~ i think it's better to say instead that you're hitting your hardest in all situations xP haha not hitting hard in one and being subpar in the other (mobs of 4+ for spear, 1-3 for polearm)
