Lower back is where most women get theirs now days. The lower back hurts less than the shoulders, at least I thought so. My lower back tat didn't hurt at all. A lot consider getting a boyfriend, fiance, or husbands name on them is bad luck, or a jinx. (Same goes for the guys) Getting a tat removed isn't very fun, nor is it 100% all the time. Just be sure you're certain before you put something permanent on your body. But I like the 'tramp stamp' better than a tat that size across the shoulders. Just remember the only actual opinion that matters is YOURS. After all it IS your body, and you have to live with it. :P

Never. EVER. Get a Husband/Boyfriend/Fiancee's name on yourself. Once you split thats a permanant reminder. You either: tattoo something ugly over it or painful...painful lasers. Get a tattoo with a meaning...

Waterwaker : Not all people split up. That's doesn't justify the risk. 50% of marriages in the US end in divorce. I think it will rise dramaticly for our generation.
