| Don't you think? :P The only party skill Mages have are Meditation, which gives a whopping 20 M.Atk.(Yay..) Oh and lets not forget Maple Warrior, but other 4th Job classes will most likely have it too. Then again, we're designed as a solo-training class, but a decent party skill would be appreciated. |

| AltairHawk : You are overpowered as it is. No party skills for you. Hi I don't see me at Ht ): Even though I'm "overpowered" and can break 100k. I WONDER WHY? |

| jmankhan : our ultimates pwn just about everything mobbing wise o_O and y are bishops the most popular 4th job class (NLs possibly mite beat them but still) Because they have an elemental advantage at the #1 training area (Skeles) And great support skills (Resurrect, Heal, Holy Symbol , Dispel, Door, Holy Shield) for parties/bosses |

| Ginax12 : How about....tempoary elemental skill attack for party members? Yes. Give me lightning based damage. So I can savage blow lightning. Or turn smokescreen into an icewall. Or something equally awesome. |

| mist: create a cloud of white fog covering the party. anyone in this fog will take less damage from ice-based damage, increase avoidability, deal extra damage and decrease accuracy for every monster in the mist. term between skills: 2 minutes master level 20: mp-100, for 100 seconds, reduce ice-based damage by 40%, +50 avoidabilty, -50 monsters' accuracy smokescreen (f/p): same as above but shield against fire-based damage edit: deals 500 damage per second (does not work on ice/fire-based corresponding to each skill, work on bosses), require level 5 ice demon |

|
How are we overpowered? o.o
Maple Story is basically about training and reaching a hgh level, like all MMORPGs. It is no coincidence that half of the level 200s are Mages. -In 1st job, Mages are overpowered, because Magic Claw is a really good first job skill. -In 2nd job, though they lack a bit of damage, they make up for it with the best mobility in game (Teleport), not counting Flash Jump which is a 3rd job skill (NWs don't count as they are Cygnus). Training a Mage is never very hard in 2nd job. Clerics join PQs REALLY easily, I/L Mages have a good mob skill which they can spam, plus freezing, and F/P Mages do decent DPS, and start leveling the fastest through Poison Training at 55+. -In 3rd job, Poison Mages are the fastest trainers in the game. Priests get even more wanted for parties, due to Holy Symbol. I/L Mages get a decent Mob skill which freezes, so while the slowest mage in 3rd job, they are still decently fast in leveling. -In 4th job, as soon as any mage gets an Ultimate, they are set. This is the cheapest and easiest skill ever invented. Wow, it takes up a lot of MP, but how hard is it to afford when you can sell leech for millions of mesos? Though boring, Ultimates are easily the fastest way to reach 200. Compare it to a Paladin's Heaven's Hammer which can't ever 1HKO or even 2HKO monsters. Also, Paladin's have a mcuh harder time than Mages reaching level 120 anyways. Basically, Mages get ridiculous survivability (Magic Guard), Ridiculous Mobility (Teleport), Good Mobbing Skills, and Ridiculous Leveling Speed. The only thing they somewhat lack is 1 vs 1 damage, but they don't ever need this. Bishops are taken to Boss Runs regardless, and the some high level Mages will be taken over a lower leveled Shadower or something onto a run (Even though they took the same time to reach those levels). You tell me: How are mages NOT overpowered? Particularly Bishops. |

None of the class is great in every aspect of the game. I would say Heros are overpowered at Big foot, can you deny that fact? |
