The Vista Zak Problem. Alt+Tab?

I've read several forums about dcing after the first body of Zak with windows vista, people keep saying that the way to counteract this is click alt+tab, what exactly is that supposed to do? cuz when i tried to do it with maplestory open all it did was minimize maplestory and open a little window that let me swtich through websites or maplestory. How deos that counteract the vista Zak problem?

Theres nothing wrong with vista, just go on the zak run but close all running programs to reduce the chances of disconnecting. Also go with the maplestory graphic's in the most lowest setting and the maplestory window minimized to the small screen. Try not to do much in the game cause that might cause lag.

There can still be disconnection problems even when nothing else is running... Some suggestions I've seen are to hit ctrl-alt-del, then hit escape and get back in Maple, play the whole run in Windowed mode, or between every body switch between windowed mode and full-screen and switch back.

You have to lower the graphics quality by 1 notch right after you kill a phase of zakum.
