A punctuation error is when they leave out commas, periods, and you know, PUNCTUATION. A spelling error is when they misspell words. WOW. A grammar error is using the wrong pronoun, bad subject/verb agreement, who/whom, that/which, etc. Now, NONE of these are interchangeable. Example one: Dense mapler: omg should i go hunting for chaos scrolls on my tunder breaker or my sin i think i should do both but should i go to cold eyes or drum bunnies Stupid Mapler 2: OMG YOUR GRAMMAR IS TERRIBLE Correct way to say it: OMG YOU HAVE AWFUL PUNCTUATION. Example two: Doltish mapler: so i saw dis gui at enath teh uder dai an he had a zhelm so did a bnuch of othr pople ther. i thot it waz col Semi-Smart Mapler (Realizes an error however not smart enough to say the right one): YOUR GRAMMAR HURTS MY EYESSS Correct way: Wow, you need to work on your spelling. K. Good day to you.

pavchkaTo call them "dense" and "doltish" isn't fair, because that way you could label everybody who's still practicing English dense or a dolt. The essence of what you're saying is right, though. Plus you might want to add that when correcting someone you should make sure your own spelling, grammar and punctuation are correct, because your suggestion "OMG YOU HAVE AWFUL PUNCTUATION" lacks a comma... People will shoot you down on something like that. :S And constructive criticism is better than just pointing out someone has bad punctuation/grammar/spelling... it's more encouraging in any case. "grammer plz", I hate that phrase so much.

Common knowledge.

AnasFA punctuative error is one where the typist leaves out commas, periods, ellipses, hyphens, apostrophes, parasinthesis and semicolons, just to name the most used. A spelling error is one where the typist misspells words. This is most irritating when the word's very essence cannot be interpreted, due to the corruption of the word's spelling. A grammatical error is one where the typist applies faulty grammar to their sentence. Grammar composes of the function of words and how they are put together in the structure of a sentence, to clearly convey a message. Now, these words have their own very specific meanings, and no error can be categorised in more than one of these respective categories. Example one: Dense mapler: Well I was hunting some monsters when an item dropped but I'm not sure well maybe its worth selling on second thought however it might be a very bad idea. Stupid Mapler 2: Oh my; your grammar is horrible. Correct way to say it: Oh my; you have disgusting punctuation.. Example two: Doltish mapler: Sou enihow, dis supr smatr person caym up to mi... (Sorry I just can't continue). Semi-Smart Mapler (Realizes an error however not smart enough to say the right one): Your grammar burns the very retina present within my eyes! Correct way: Wow, you need to work on your spelling. My work here is done. I bid you adieu.

I was just using doltish and dense to prove a point, not to call foreigners stupid. And yeah, I do agree with that.

1. "Example one" has a spelling error too "tunder" should be "thunder" 2. OMG is not a word in the dictionary, so it shouldn't be used when correcting others. K. Good day to you.

That's fine. ;) After all many people come in talking "Internet language"; something I hate so much I wrote two essays about it. I'm just a little touchy about the subject because I've been called stupid and an indiot for some minor spelling errors. (I'm not English either) To above poster: It's a common Internet abbreviation. I think Internet language, or Dynamic English, should be accepted as it's part of forum talk.
