Why people make Strless bowmen?

After reading threads about this subject and on other sites, I find out in the end, normal str bowmen out damage the strless. I'm still confused on why people choose to be strless for their whole maple career. Is there a benefit from being strless? I would appreciate a detailed reason, if you care to take this time to type this out Also I'm sorry if there is a topic similar to this. I'm just confused, and I never really read anthing that answered this question yet :s

Most people don't get past level 70. They want the damage early - big numbers.

I've gone strless but I'm only gonna do it to like lvl 70, then when mapleweapons starts to get outdated i can change to normal dex.

Strless to 70, then low-str. Now, you do the most damage.

Strless, converting to low str by 80-100 is strongest(usually). That's why I'd go strless, but unless I had a near perfect nishada I wouldn't stay strless forever.

i still prefer regSTR till 50-60, then going lowSTR. for me, changing weapons is waht motivated me to lvl up... and looking at your range grow every few lvls can motivate any1, lol

well I scrolled a 112 attack Kandiva last night, And with that bow, STRless bowmen would pretty much own regular STR bowmen, I think

I'm strless because I have a 52 str htp. :p I currently use a white nisrock with 4 base str and am trying to make a reverse egnaw.

statless=super dmg at early lvls cuz no good dex equips regular stat= pwn at 70+ cuz godly equips

spiritrival : That's not Str-less. That's extremely Low Str. Str-less Bowmen only wear Bows that require 0 Str. Str-less means he didn't add to any AP to Str. It has nothing to do with what equips he can equip.
