ok help on new patch

my friend just called me and told me that when he hits Start game a pop out comes out and says: connnection to server cannot be established. now idk much about computers but i can try help him around it but i need help. any suggestions on what to do? he restarted his computer already and still nothing. His brother on the computer next to him downloaded the new patch without a problem and can log in. SO help plllz . also y didnt i need to download a patch? i just hit start game and it went right in. 10 MINUtES LATER AND NOONE RPLY thanks

he didnt play for like a week but now , whenever he hit start game it tells his CONNECTION TO SERVER CANNOT BE ESTABLISHED

Is his internet on? Also, maybe people would reply if you used proper capitalization, punctuation, and were polite about it.
