Archers the new ksing class?

Like most hermits, I train at Voodoos since it's - in my opinion - efficient. I'm not heavily over-funded but I can easily hold off when someone tries to "acquire the channel that I was in first". Most Maplers are kind enough to change channel when I ask them to, however naturally some don't. Of these, I tend to find the archers to be most hateful - no I don't mean I hate them... I mean they hate me. "y dun u cc u ksn noob?" or "nah, ur a noob" are common comments that I get. Strange, since I was in the room first... The same story applies to MP3 training as well (although mages are on par in that area - less verbal abuse though). I am aware our class (hermit) in general tends to ks, but my point is - why are the archers so aggressive toward any hermit? They (the ones that ks at least) tend to stay around longer than the "ksing sins" that they hate so much (you've probably realized that I don't ks by now). Is it me, or are they so blind with hate toward hermits that they think they're doing the MapleWorld a favor by assaulting them "in the name of justice"? I really shouldn't say this but doing such low tactics makes them just as the true ksing sins that they so hate. So my question is, how many of you have had "ks" attempts from "sin hating archers"? And do the higher level archers keep up this trend? To the CBs that read this thread, feel free to comment as well.

I haven't been KSed by Archers a lot yet. At Typhons it doesn't matter- everybody KSes you at that area. CBs and Archers alike. It depends on where you are more on the class you've encoutered. At the aforementioned Typhon map I get KSed by mainly CBs, at Windraiders I got Ksed by Hermits, at Oodoos a long time ago by Warriors, at MP3 by Mages...

It Seems to me that archers can deal alot of damage now since Cygnus came out. My Funded Wind Breaker did 2k/2.5.k average alot of the times.

All classes seem to ks. I've been ksed by lvl 100 saders and lvl 85 DKs and lvl 79 CBs and lvl 83 Hermits and lvl 99 Dawn Warriors and lvl 86 Wind Archers and lvl 93 Ice Mages. Don't worry about it if you get ksed. Just do your best to ruin their exp gain and they should cc in about 15-30 mins, that's what I do. Most of the time they decide the exp loss isn't worth the map, even if they get the majority of exp.

I dont usually get ks'ed in general. but usually they CC. and it was an accdient. but i was on my gunslinger and i thought i was killing fine (about 70~100 each bullet) and then this lvl 45 fighter comes and KS'es me and then i jst brush it off and go somewehre else, he comes so i get on my shad and KS him and hes like wow no life 123 wow. He logged f3. WindyEagle yuor a noob. But no not by archers.

The TS is clearly whining about some archer being able to overpower his "Heavily-funded" character, right? Ignorance + Arrogance= bad mix. I can include myself in this mix, but, many Archers HATE being ranged for one, and being KS'ed and having their maps taken by Assassins (well, majority of spots I was KS'ed in were all by Claw-thieves). I don't get it, first the hermits are bragging about I KS DEM I KS HIM etc., etc., but now, Cygnus archers get a mob skill and some more attack and here come the waterworks..

Personally i have never encountered any such archer, infact a lv130 archer helped me at Newts last night, he partied me and gave me Sharp Eyes, no charge. Almost anyone at ch1 newts was incredibly kind. They watched me kill and helped, a Night Lord gave me Maple Warrior boost that same night.

I dunt think the class matters, its the person controling the class. I'm pretty sure all classes are capable of ksing others it just happens that sins do it alot.I dunt try to ks people unless they try to steal a map from me. :P
