This thread is being made through me by Machina . He was banned so he asked me to post this. Original: Okay, so I was banned for "bumping my Basil Market Exchange thread" pft. That's beside the point: I have seen a lot of chatter on the site about an iPhone application for Basilmarket. There are two flaws in that idea: 1. iPhone apps would make you download megabytes, and megabytes of data. Your iPhone has a lock on how much data can be downloaded for an application (usually around 10MB) before you have to download the app on your computer, and then over to your iPhone / iPod Touch. 2. The iPhone application system runs on a compilation of C++ and Objective C. Though they are simple languages for the most part, no one is going to want to code an application for it. So, here's the best idea for you iPhone users. It's called a moble-based website or liteWebsite. I got bored so I created a simple design: http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/1931/93088449.png (imageshack) There aren't many images, I know. But, that would save on the load time. Top is the navigation, obviously. The Basil Coin would be what you click for your Basil ID and or to login to the site. From this site you would be able to check your auctions, view the monsters (for whatever in the hell you are doing) and even chat on the lite forums. A discussion would be nice, along with feedback.

I don't have an iPhone but it sounds like a great idea.

Why not just make a webclip on the phone itself with two taps. http://www.apple.com/iphone/how-to/#safari.web-clips
