is being dexless pointless for NW?

my friend who is reg dex, has a base dex of 65. his equips are:10att wg, 28att tube, and ilbis im dexless my equips are 8att wg, steelies, and 28att tube my att range iss 128-552. His is 130-560. is it just me? Or does being dexless actually pointless

Hm. :S His equips are a little better than yours, but... I though DEXlessness affected Lucky 7 more than a few ATTs more or less.

He has ilbis and a wg that has 2 more atk than you so of course he's going to do more damage than you. What ever happened to common sense?

Your damage range might be inferior to his, but your L7 range will be superior. Even though you are suffering from a 4 attack difference, you will come out on top when you're attacking monsters.

fenrirslayer : thats what i thought, my att range should be higher right? You seem to have misinterpreted him; your Lucky 7 damage will be higher, not your range.

The main attacks used by the Assassin class, Lucky 7 and Triple Throw, are mainly used on LUK, not ATT. Therefore a character that has a little more weapon ATT than a DEXless Assassin should be weaker... Lucky 7 wise in any case...

Weapon attack is an extremely more significant stat than LUK DEXless are in theory now better because you can buy the +53 stat HTP and get the same claws as regular DEX if you try with equips and Maple Warrior.

well im lv 38 hes lv 40. The other equips hes wearing are clean so i only listed the ones that are beneficial. I thought that the extra luck would make up for the att lost on the stars and wg, cause im trying to save money
